Ophioglossum nudicaule (Least Adder's Tongue) is a species of perennial herb in the family Ophioglossaceae. They are native to Caatinga, Pernambuco, Espirito Santo, ParaíBa, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande Do Sul, Paraná, RondôNia, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Minas Gerais, The Contiguous United States, SãO Paulo, Acre (Brazil), GoiáS, Roraima, Distrito Federal, Piauí, Rio De Janeiro, Mato Grosso, Hawaii, Mata Atlântica, Pampa, Cerrado, Amazônia, Pantanal, Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, and Bahia. They have simple leaves. Individuals can grow to 10 cm. They have alternation of generations.
