I didn't see this nudi until I did the invertebrate search during the reef life survey at Bare Island, it was so well camouflaged. The strobe light makes it easier to see. They come in yellow and pink base colours

We saw three of these over our diving weekend at Port Stephens; they are not common in Sydney though. Note the little "tail" that led to the common name
