Camponotus pennsylvanicus ((Eastern) Black Carpenter Ant) is a species of Hymenoptera in the family ants. They are native to The Nearctic. They visit flowers of jewelweed, Japanese raspberry, oneseed bur cucumber, and wild parsnip. They are diurnal omnivores. They have parental care (female provides care). They rely on flight to move around.
