Melpomene peruviana is a species of perennial herb in the family Polypodiaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Minas Gerais, Rio De Janeiro, Espirito Santo, Paraná, Mata Atlântica, Santa Catarina, and SãO Paulo. They have broad leaves. They have alternation of generations.
