Crataegus monogyna (Common Hawthorn) is a species of tree in the family Rosaceae. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They have purple flowers and fleshy fruit. Flowers are visited by Short-fringed Miner, Empis praevia, Common carder bumblebee, and Lesser Bulb Fly. Individuals can grow to 15 m.
