Potentilla recta (Sulphur Cinquefoil) is a species of perennial herb in the family Rosaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Sleepy Orange, Halictus confusus, essex skipper, and Halictus ligatus. Individuals can grow to 0.38 m.
