Chrysobalanus icaco (Coco Plum) is a species of tree in the family Chrysobalanaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Martinique, Saint Barthelemy, ParaíBa, Alagoas, Guadeloupe, Atlantic And Gulf Coastal Plain (Agcp), SãO Paulo, AmazôNia, Rio Grande Do Norte, Espirito Santo, Puerto Rico, Sergipe, Piauí, Florida, Mata Atlântica, Middle America, U.S. Virgin Islands, Rio De Janeiro, Netherlands Antilles, Eastern North America, Pará, Ceará, Maranhao, The Contiguous United States, and Bahia. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Julia Heliconian, Florida Duskywing, Long-tailed Skipper, and Lasioglossum mahense. Individuals can grow to 12 m.
