Malus pumila (Apple) is a species of tree in the family Rosaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are listed as endangered by IUCN. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Cape May Warbler, Brachypalpus valgus, and Heringia heringi. Individuals can grow to 6.8 m.
