Mimosa camporum is a species of shrub in the family legumes. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Maranhao, Rio Grande Do Norte, Ceará, Pará, Tocantins, Caatinga, Amazônia, Cerrado, Roraima, Mexico, Piauí, Amapá, RondôNia, Sergipe, Mato Grosso, and Acre (Brazil). They have compound, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Honey bee, Polybia occidentalis, and Melipona favosa.
