U. hedysari-paniculati has been reported as widespread in the Caribbean, Central, North, and South America on species of Desmodium and Meibomia (Fabaceae; Farr et al. 2004; Hernandez et al. 2005a, b). This is the first report of U. hedysari-paniculati from Panama.
