Description: body moderately elongate; upper lip overlapping; males develop a very small hump (Ref. 52307).Coloration: body gray to grayish-brown; scales not well-marginated; at times, 2 horizontal stripes are visible, joining at caudal peduncle at about height of end of anal fin; some diffuse vertical bars also sometimes present (Ref. 52307).
