Acanthastrea hemprichii (Starry Cup Coral) is a species of cnidarians in the family Lobophylliidae. They are listed as vulnerable by IUCN and in cites appendix ii. Dead Starry Cup Coral form shallow marine sediments. They have alternation of generations, asexual reproduction, and sexual reproduction. They are sessile animals.
