Oligosarcus oligolepis is a species of ray-finned fishes in the family tetras. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They visit flowers of winged lythrum, French-grass, Pale-Spike Lobelia, and Appalachian Mountain-Mint. Individuals can grow to 26.2 cm. They have sexual reproduction.
