Hyperolius ghesquieri Laurent 1943

A large Hyperolius (about 37 mm) from R. D. Congo. Dorsum with a pattern in greyish-white and brownish. Only one specimen known, from central R. D. Congo.

This species was described based on a single sample, and nothing is known of its biology or overall distribution. It is included based on Laurent’s authority.

Hyperolius ghesquieri is a species of frog in the family Hyperoliidae. It is endemic to Democratic Republic of the Congo. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, rivers, swamps, freshwater marshes, and intermittent freshwater marshes.
