Larix laricina (American Larch) is a species of tree in the family pines. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada, United States, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, Alaska, northern hemisphere, North America, and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, spine-shaped leaves, red flowers, and cones. Individuals can grow to 80 feet.
