General Description

Member of the coxendix group (subgenus Odontium). Distinguished on color alone: elytra with rufous ground-color, against which the bright green striae are strongly contrasting; three basal segments of antennae and legs (except tip of tarsi) entirely testaceous. Prothorax with sides less rounded and base broader than in coxendix, latero-basal carinula stronger, anterior lateral seta constantly present. Punctures of elytral striae fine. Length 4.5 to 6.7 mm.
