Sciurus vulgaris (Eurasian Red Squirrel) is a species of rodents in the family Sciuridae. They are native to the Palearctic. They visit flowers of Maritime Pine, Common Birch, and Scotch Pine. They are solitary, diurnal omnivores. Individuals are known to live for 144 months and can grow to 213.17 mm. Reproduction is viviparous. They have parental care (female provides care).
