Proceratophrys appendiculata (Günther)

MATERIAL.—USNM 241334 (one specimen dissected, stage 38, SVL 14.1 mm). Collected from a small stream near Teresópolis, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 29 November 1978.

REFERENCE.—Peixoto and Cruz (1980) described and figured the external morphology and provided habitat data for this species.

GENERAL

Proceratophrys appendiculata is a species of frog in the family Odontophrynidae. It is endemic to Brazil. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest, subtropical or tropical moist montane forest, and rivers. It is threatened by habitat loss.
