Varanus salvadorii (Crocodile Monitor) is a species of Squamata in the family monitor lizards. They are listed in cites appendix ii. They are native to Oceania continent (Australia, NZ and islands). They are solitary, diurnal carnivores. They have sexual reproduction. They have parental care (female provides care). They rely on running to move around.
