Ctenosaura similis (Black Iguana) is a species of Squamata in the family iguanids. They are native to Honduras, Costa Rica, Panama, The Nearctic, Nicaragua, Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Belize, and The Neotropics. Individuals can grow to 276 mm. They have sexual reproduction. Reproduction is oviparous. They rely on running to move around.
