Attached to intestinal epithelium of brackish or saltwater oligochaete (Paranais litoralis). Also reported from freshwater, free-living among Chara and Utricularia.

Morphology

Body roughly cylindrical, with pseudosegments in juveniles. Foot abruptly offset from trunk, one pseudosegment, small, conical, acute, bent ventrally, motile. Toes absent. Integument occasionally pilose (fungi ?).
