Mornington Peninsula, Victoria, near shore of Westernport Bay. Unusual for its twining, leafless stems, up to around 1 metre long, usually scrambling through grasses and small shrubs. Widely distributed right across southern Australia but inconspicuous when not in flower. The flowers are smaller than those of most other Thysanotus species, hardly more than 1 cm across.
