Description

Perennial climber with short clasping roots at the nodes. Leaves lanceolate to narrowly ovate or elliptic to oblong. Inflorescences on short separate branches, surrounded by a thick leathery, boat-shaped spade, greenish or yellowish-white. Fruits a cluster of obovoid berries orange-red when ripe.
