Description

Shrub or small semi-deciduous tree. Leaves opposite or in whorls of 3, crowded towards the ends of branches, obovate with a rounded or emarginate apex; upper surface with rough hairs, lower surface greyish velvety, dotted with dark bacterial nodules. Flowers white, sweetly scented, in dense, rounded axillary heads.
