Cephalanthus occidentalis (Common Buttonbush) is a species of shrub in the family Rubiaceae. They are native to North America, United States, Canada, Western North America, The Contiguous United States, and Eastern North America. They have white flowers. Flowers are visited by Long-windged Skipper, Common Eastern Bumblebee, Vanessa virginiensis, and Black-and-yellow Lichen Moth. Individuals can grow to 15 feet.
