Bromus rubens (Red Brome) is a species of annual grass in the family true grasses. They are native to Portugal, Uzbekistan, Israel, France, Western North America, Nicaragua, Iraq, Spain, Syria, Jordan, Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Greece, Russia, Algeria, Iran, Tunisia, Italy, Turkey, Egypt, Azerbaijan, Cyprus, North America, Libya, and Morocco. They have yellow flowers and dry fruit. Individuals can grow to 1.3 feet.
