Hordeum vulgare (Common Barley) is a species of annual grass in the family true grasses. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They have yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Dacnusa, Hemiptarsenus unguicellus, Parasitoid wasp, and Parasitoid wasp. Individuals can grow to 2.5 feet.
