Panicum virgatum (Switchgrass) is a species of perennial herb in the family true grasses. They are native to Canada, North America, Eastern North America, United States, and The Contiguous United States. They have yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Sarcophaga sinuata, Scar-horned Blacklet, Belvosia bifasciata, and Two-spotted Long-horned Bee. Individuals can grow to 184.6 cm.
