Stenotaphrum secundatum (St. Augustine Grass) is a species of perennial grass in the family true grasses. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Alagoas, Rio De Janeiro, Mata Atlântica, Ceará, The Contiguous United States, Paraná, Puerto Rico, Caatinga, SãO Paulo, Bahia, U.S. Virgin Islands, Eastern North America, and Pernambuco. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 0.9 feet.
