Opopaea is a genus of goblin spiders of the family Oonopidae.[1] The genus is one of the largest within the family, with 180 accepted species.[2]

Description

Spiders of the genus are very small, less than 2 mm long. They are usually a reddish-brown color. They have six eyes: four posterior in a straight row, and two anterior.[3]
