Eleocharis obtusa (Blunt Spikerush) is a species of annual grass in the family sedges. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Hawaii, The Contiguous United States, Canada, Eastern North America, Western North America, and North America. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Individuals can grow to 0.58 m.
