Carex scoparia (Broom Sedge) is a species of perennial herb in the family sedges. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, and North America. They have simple, broad leaves and green flowers. Individuals can grow to 2.5 feet.
