Dieteria canescens (Hoar False Tansy Aster) is a species of annual herb in the family Asteraceae. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Canada, and North America. They have achenes. Flowers are visited by Sleepy Orange, Sandhill Skipper, Brown-belted Bumblebee, and Melissodes microstictus.
