Parasyrisca

Parasyrisca is a genus of ground spiders that was first described by E. Schenkel in 1963.[2] Originally placed with the sac spiders, it was moved to the Miturgidae in 1967,[3] then to the ground spiders in 1988.[4]

Species

As of May 2019 it contains fifty-four species found throughout Europe to far eastern Asia, with the exception of P. orites, found in the United States and Canada:[1]

Parasyrisca Schenkel, 1963 è un genere di ragni appartenente alla famiglia Gnaphosidae.

Distribuzione

Le 49 specie note di questo genere sono state reperite nell'ecozona olartica: la specie dall'areale più vasto è la P. potanini rinvenuta in diverse località della Russia, della Cina e della Mongolia[1].

Tassonomia

Le caratteristiche di questo genere sono state descritte dallo studio degli esemplari di P. potanini Schenkel, 1963[1].

Questo genere venne trasferito dalla famiglia Clubionidae alla famiglia Miturgidae a seguito di un lavoro dell'aracnologo Lehtinen del 1967; quindi è stato spostato qui dopo un lavoro degli aracnologi Ovtsharenko & Marusik del 1988[1].

Non sono stati esaminati esemplari di questo genere dal 2014[1].
