Plants 15-30 cm. Stem stout, with 3-4 loose sheaths. Inflorescence ± dense. Flowers brownish to yellowish-brown. Perianth segments c. 2 mm long, connivent. Sepals broadly ovate, the lateral ± oblique; petals spathulate, near the rounded apex c. 1 mm broad. Labellum twice as long as sepals, pendulous to spreading, the margins shortly ciliate, divided at apex into two lobes, upper surface with thickened central longitudinal ridge. Column short, 1.5 mm long. Ovary globose, c.2 mm long, with slender, twice as long pedicel, glandular-pubescent.
