They are native to Piauí, Tocantins, Sergipe, Roraima, Acre (Brazil), Amapá, Alagoas, Ceará, Pampa, Pantanal, RondôNia, GoiáS, Maranhao, Rio Grande Do Sul, ParaíBa, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Espirito Santo, Puerto Rico, Caatinga, The Neotropics, Rio Grande Do Norte, Mato Grosso, Paraná, Cerrado, Amazônia, Distrito Federal, The Contiguous United States, Minas Gerais, Pernambuco, SãO Paulo, Mata Atlântica, Pará, Santa Catarina, Rio De Janeiro, Bahia, and U.S. Virgin Islands. They have berries.
