Pouteria cuspidata is a species of tree in the family Sapotaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Amazônia, Bahia, GoiáS, Rio De Janeiro, Roraima, Espirito Santo, Amapá, RondôNia, Mato Grosso, Mata Atlântica, Pará, and Cerrado. They have simple, broad leaves and berries. Individuals can grow to 25 m.
