This is the front page to a number of portals through the Academy of Natural Sciences. The herbarium features an extensive taxon collection of many diatoms, including Eunotia.
From their website:
"The Catalogue of Diatom Names is a relational database of diatom names and publications, compiled by staff at the California Academy of Sciences. It includes a table of genus names, a table of species and infraspecific taxa names, and a table of publications. We have recorded basic nomenclatural information for each name such as authorship, place and date of publication, and nomenclatural status. We have personally verified over 50% of the entries".
Features a number of projects involving diatoms as well as other siliceous organisms. Specifically, ecological data from around the Northeast United States with datapoints extending down the Atlantic Coastal Plain.
This is a portal within the Diatom Herbarium operated through the Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University. Images of type specimens and associated data are featured here for a number of taxa, including Eunotia.
Eunotia is a genus of diatoms. They are fresh water diatoms, specifically common in lakes, and they are also common in fossil records, although their siliceous wall design may have been lost and they appear plane, an example is Eunotia tetradon.
