Piriqueta cistoides caroliniana (Pitted Stripeseed) is a subspecies of annual herb in the family Passifloraceae. They are native to Roraima, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Acre (Brazil), Caatinga, Ceará, Tocantins, Piauí, Mata Atlântica, The Contiguous United States, Sergipe, Bahia, GoiáS, Mato Grosso, Minas Gerais, Pará, Alagoas, Cerrado, Amazônia, SãO Paulo, and Maranhao. Flowers are visited by Dainty Sulphur, Augochlorella aurata, Lasioglossum tarponense, and Bartram's hairstreak Butterfly.
