Trachypithecus auratus (Eastern Ebony Leaf Monkey) is a species of primates in the family Old World monkeys. They are listed as vulnerable by IUCN and in cites appendix ii. They are native to Asia. They are diurnal herbivores. Individuals can grow to 1333 mm. Reproduction is viviparous. They have parental care (cooperative breeding and female provides care).
