Papilio machaon (Old World Swallowtail) is a species of butterflies in the family swallowtail butterflies. They are native to the Palearctic and The Nearctic. They visit flowers of Asphodelus aestivus, Plumbago europaea, Common Dandelion, and Common Bluebell. They are herbivores. They rely on flight to move around.
