Austropyrgus rectoides is a species of minute freshwater snail with an operculum, an aquatic gastropod mollusc or micromollusc in the Hydrobiidae family. This species is endemic to Tasmania, Australia. It is found in small coastal rivers and streams in northern and western Tasmania and also on Hunter Island.[1]

Austropyrgus rectoides is een slakkensoort uit de familie van de Hydrobiidae. De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 2003 door Clark, Miller en Ponder.
