Description: English: This 3/4 inch (19 mm) insect is uniformly yellowishbrown in color. The larva is a pest of grass roots and, at times, builds up huge populations. The adult is highly attracted to ultraviolet light, where large numbers can be caught. The prothorax is lightly and finely punctured and the elytra finely and sparsely rugose.
