Distribution Notes: Stewart Island: Fern Gully, Halfmoon Bay, Tolson River valley and Tin Range.

Bio Status: Indigenous (Endemic)

Taxon Description: Shell small, 2.3 mm wide at 2. 375 whorls and 0.3 mm high, rapidly expanding teleoconch whorls with cut away shell base. Colour metallic silvery-grey, protoconch light grey and teleoconch darker grey. Protoconch of 1.25 whorls, first quarter with prominent spiral cords, followed by characteristic incised diagonally reticulate sculpture. Terminal reproductive ducts without any appendages or major constrictions. Male terminalia with clearly distinguishable vas deferens and epiphallic duct. Retractor muscle attachment apical near penis/epiphallus junction.

Habitat Notes: From near sealevel in Fern Gully and Halfmoon Bay to 680 m on the Tin Range. The Tin Range specimen was found under edge of Olearia colensoi and the Tolson River specimen in kamahi forest.
