Pycnia amphigenous and caulicolous, exceedingiy numerous, thickiy scattered along the petioles and veins, preceding or among the telia, papillose, conspicuous, subcuticular, becoming blackish-brown, frustum-like, 60-80// in diameter, two thirds as high.
