Uredinia chiefiy hypophyllous, scattered, oval or roundish, 0.2-0.5 mm. across, rather early naked, pulverulent, cinnamon-brown, ruptured epidermis conspicuous; urediniospores broadly ellipsoid or subglobose, 16-20 by 18-23 m; wall golden-brown , 1.5-2ju thick, finely and rather sparsely echinulate, the pores 3 or 4, equatorial.
