About 9 to 13 mm in length. Yellowish red or yellowish brown; occasionally a bolder red color, with dark membrane. Scutellum is brown and forms a long triangle. Pronotum is trapezoidal with especially slanted sides making the posterior part of the pronotum much broader than the anterior part, and is finely dotted. Ventral side is mostly yellow. Appendages are brownish black. Rostrum is medium in length and reaches the fourth ventral segment (longer than that of L. chevreuxi but shorter than that of L. productus).
