Description: Skate at 1100m depth in the Faroe-Shetland Channel. Ken Sulak says that it is Dipturus linteus. This image was called 'Rosebank Ray 111' when sent to Ken, and subsequently 'Rosebank Dipturus linteus'.
John McEachran thinks that it is Dipturus linteus.
Samuel Iglésias does NOT agree. He identifies that specimen as Amblyraja hyperborea. He says that he has never observed specimens of D. linteus except on photos but he does not think it is that species.
