Trichomycterus piurae is een straalvinnige vissensoort uit de familie van de parasitaire meervallen (Trichomycteridae).^[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1922 door Eigenmann.

皮烏拉河毛鼻鯰，為輻鰭魚綱鯰形目毛鼻鯰科的其中一種，為熱帶淡水魚，分布於南美洲秘魯北部Piura河流域，體長可達7.6公分，棲息在底層水域，生活習性不明。
