Chaenomeles speciosa (Japanese Quince) is a species of shrub in the family Rosaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Eastern Asia. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Anthophora plumipes, Common carder bumblebee, and Early bumblebee. Individuals can grow to 2.3 m.
